About the Role We are seeking a versatile and highly organized Production & Digital Support Specialist to manage the ongoing operational needs and product support for our suite of mobile apps and associated digital platforms (websites, backend systems) as well as support our Production Team with file management and broadcast deliveries. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth running, continuous improvement, and global availability of our digital product as well as supporting the timely delivery of video & audio assets to broadcasters. Key Responsibilities (Digital) Content Management & Localization : Manage and update app playlists, episodes, and HTML5 game bundles across 5 languages, including image and copy localization. Oversee metadata (synopses, characters, keywords, thumbnails) for new content. Maintain App Store listings for multiple apps (Watch, Play, Learn, Bing Baking, Let's Play) across various app stores and languages (15 listings), including specific handling for Amazon Kids' editions. Collaborate on copywriting and translations for webpages, apps, and games. Utilize tools like Flamelink for content management and AWS for content provisioning and transcoding. Cloud & Technical Operations : Manage and maintain cloud storage (AWS S3 buckets) for various media assets (episodes, games, songs). Oversee Cloudfront CDN Distributions for efficient and secure content delivery, including cache invalidations. Provide support for the website's CMS running on AWS EC2 (Drupal), including restarts and minor issue resolution. Manage media transcoding for new app items into mobile-friendly formats using AWS Lambda/Javascript functions. Ensure Cyber Security (WAF provisioning via AWS) is checked frequently. Manage Github code repositories for Let's Play and Watch Play Learn. Support CI/CD Tools integration and pipelines (e.g., Expo, Github) for smooth code releases. Application Backend & APIs : Support the Firebase backend for the WPL app, ensuring content manifests (wording, country-specific content, metadata) are correctly fetched. Administer Flamelink for managing in-app content across all languages, including schema updates and occasional Firebase authentication adjustments. Website Support: Manage web tracking and analytics via Google Tag Manager, connecting to Google Analytics and Looker Studio dashboards. Support the creation from a technical perspective of new webpages for campaigns and content. Assist with SEO tasks including checking Google Search Console, sitemap updates, and implementing guidance. App Updates & Release Management: Coordinate and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for app updates on iOS, Android, and Amazon devices across all languages. Prepare and manage release notes in all supported languages for each app update. Maintain and update App Store descriptions and images across platforms and languages, including ASO experimentation. Track and manage OS and API-level updates for Google, Amazon, and Apple to ensure app discoverability and compatibility. Agency & Domain Management: Log and track issues/changes with development agencies via Basecamp. Manage SSL Certificates (AWS) and Google Search Console connections for websites. Information Security & Access Management: Assist with managing internal and external access permissions for critical systems like Github, Amazon Web Services (IAM), Firebase API, App Store accounts, and Domain management tools. Key Responsibilities (Production) File Management of large volumes of production data Assist the Director of Production, Head of Sound & Head of Design Services with the movement and management of production data and accompanying paperwork. Archiving and Back Up Process Assisting with the Production Archive Process, validating duplications and working with the IT and operations teams with the reporting of production backups. Broadcast Delivery Process Assisting with the delivery of large quantities of broadcast deliverables to post production partners and distributors. Managing the paperwork and keeping filing up to date across all platforms. Internal Quality Control Checks Assisting with internal QC checks to catch faults and issues with exports across the department. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in a digital operations, product support, or technical content management role, preferably within mobile applications. Experience at developing and deploying apps to the 3 main stores. Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS (S3, Cloudfront, EC2, Lambda, WAF). Experience with content management systems, ideally Flamelink and Firebase. Skilled at project management tools such as Jira, Basecamp etc Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Proficiency in image manipulation software (e.g., Photoshop). Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Good at prioritising a backlog and managing both up and down the business (in terms of expectations). Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Able to manage customer feedback and triage issues for a development team. Ability to understand reporting/analytics and make decisions based on the findings. Identifying what is working and what isn't. Knowledge of different app revenue models. Proven experience supporting the delivery and management of broadcast video and audio files. Familiarly with Video and Sound editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder & Avid Pro Tools Experience with data management, housekeeping and archiving processes for large amounts of data. Experience working with a Video QC process would be ideal. Experience with Github and CI/CD processes is a plus. Multilingual abilities (especially in any of the listed app languages) are a significant advantage.
