Job Summary
The PR & Media Officer is responsible for developing and delivering PR activities to ensure effective communication with stakeholders, media, and the public. The role aims to enhance the profile of KCLSU across local and national media, and internationally. Working within a small team, the successful candidate will manage media campaigns and handle media inquiries in line with KCLSU's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enhance KCLSU's visibility and communicate core messages through various media channels.
2. Build and maintain relationships with journalists and press agencies in mainstream and Higher Education media.
3. Collaborate with student officers and colleagues to secure media coverage on issues important to KCLSU.
4. Plan and execute PR and media campaigns aligned with KCLSU strategy.
5. Partner with student newspaper ROAR to promote events and news.
