* Work as part of the Future Support Programmes leadership team to develop Supply Chain Strategies to win and deliver large support contracts
* Lead Supply Chain capture for future programmes, ensuring that supply chain plans and opportunities are provided and considered as part of the capture process, bringing forward innovation and investment strategies into the early lifecycle.
* Support the development of the Capture Plan understanding the Win Strategy, Price to Win and the role of supply chain to achieve this, in particular: supplier relationship strategy, material and service provision, warehousing, logistic support and transportation solutions, through life cost control and supplier resilience.
* Form part of the contract negotiating team with the customer as the Supply Chain expert to influence terms and conditions flow down and alignment with the customer strategy
* Collaborate with the wider supply chain team and suppliers to generate ideas, develop objectives, and create models that support the delivery of a high-quality bid or proposal, ensuring it meets requirements for resilience, availability, and agility
* Lead the supply chain conversation with internal and customer stakeholders, drawing on best practice, awareness of the latest commercial developments and communication skills to influence others to drive best business outcomes.
* Manage priorities effectively by delegating tasks across a matrix team, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and on time
* Work as part of the Supply Chain leadership team to support functional strategy delivery and process improvement in business winning, deputising for the Supply Chain Director on business winning activities when required
Substantial supply chain experience working within early life cycle programmes, with some experience working across the wider supply chain discipline structure
* Proven experience of business winning methodologies, e.g. bid to win, price to win
* Significant experience of strategic cost management tools and techniques
* Excellent cross functional stakeholder management skills
* Demonstrate leadership capability working in a complex business environment and setting operational direction
This is a high-impact role working as part of the Future Support Programmes leadership team, responsible for shaping strategic supply chain inputs into long-term capture activities. Salary: £78,000+ depending on skills and experience, You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
