SEND Tutor : Hillingdon (1:1 Tuition)
Quantum Scholars are currently seeking experienced tutors and qualified teachers to deliver 1:1 tuition to secondary and primary:aged pupils receiving Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) provision across Hillingdon.
As an established provider within Hillingdon Councils alternative provision network, Quantum Scholars supports pupils who are currently out of mainstream education. Many of the young people we work with have additional needs such as SEND, ADHD, autism, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical needs, and require personalised support to help them re:engage with learning.
This is a highly rewarding role where you will work closely with individual secondary and primary:aged pupils, delivering tailored tuition that helps rebuild their confidence, develop key academic skills, and support their journey back into education. Sessions typically take place in the pupils home or within a suitable community setting. Tutors are responsible for planning and preparing lessons and resources that meet each pupils individual learning needs.

Deliver 1:1 tuition to secondary and primary:aged pupils outside of mainstream education

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
Strong experience supporting secondary and primary:aged pupils with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD or behavioural needs
Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships
A calm, patient and resilient approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Ability to travel to Hillingdon for in:person tutoring sessions
