We’re looking for a commercially aware and strategically minded Supply Chain Manager to lead a Purchasing function and help shape the future of procurement operations.

About the Role:
This is a leadership position with real scope to make a difference, not just to the bottom line, but how to work with global suppliers in line with ESG principles.
You’ll manage an internal purchasing team, drive supplier performance, streamline processes, and ensure ethical sourcing practices across our product range.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead, mentor and manage the day-to-day operations of the Purchasing Team
* Maintain and grow strong supplier relationships globally and ethically
* Source and onboard new suppliers, ensuring ESG alignment and cost-efficiency
* Lead supplier reviews, audits and contingency planning
* Collaborate across teams (Product Design, QA, R&D, Sales)
* Oversee forecasting, inventory planning and procurement strategy
* Produce and manage competitive tenders and pricing negotiations
* Continuously improve processes through data, systems and innovation
What You’ll Need:
* At least 5 years’ experience in purchasing or supply chain leadership
* Proven success in driving cost savings, operational efficiency, and supplier accountability
* Background in manufacturing or complex product environments (desirable)
* CIPS qualified (or working towards it) and educated to degree level
* A strong grasp of ethical sourcing, sustainability goals and supplier compliance
* Excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills
* A strategic, proactive mindset with attention to detail and confidence in fast-paced environments
