Role Description
We're looking for a
Surveyor / Installation Technician
to join our growing team. This is a full-time role, remote-first with regular travel across the UK and visits to our HQ near Marlborough, Wiltshire for training and team days.
You'll be the face of Spark Care on the ground: surveying care environments, installing and configuring technology, and making sure everything works seamlessly for the teams who rely on it. It's a practical, people-focused role where no two days are the same.
What you'll do
* Visit care homes and community settings to carry out site surveys.
* Install and configure care technology, including fall detection sensors and networking equipment.
* Deliver neat, professional installations that meet safety standards.
* Provide clear training and handover to staff.
* Troubleshoot issues and provide routine support when required.
* Be a positive ambassador for Spark Care at every site.
What we're looking for
* Experience in surveying, installation, or a technical trade (IT, telecoms, AV, or similar).
* Comfortable using tools, ladders, and IT equipment.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to put people at ease in care environments.
* Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexible with travel (occasional overnight stays).
* Full UK driving licence.
Bonus points if you have technical certifications or prior experience in the care sector, but these aren't essential — the right attitude and willingness to learn matter most.
