Finance Business Partner (Not-for-Profit) £40, 000 | Contract | Hybrid | City Centre Reed is partnered with an award-winning Not-for-Profit organisation based in Belfast city centre, in the appointment of an experienced Finance Business Partner to cover a planned period of leave. As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role supporting the various departments across the group and act as a strategic advisor to help make data driven decisions. You will partner with the relevant department heads to support financial planning and analysis, deliver actionable insights and recommendations, support business development, monitor financial performance and host monthly/quarterly finance reviews. Key activities in the role include; Prepare Monthly Management accounts, reporting on variances with narrative Manage the budgeting and forecasting process Ensure appropriate financial policies, processes and financial controls are in place, to meet all relevant legislative, regulatory and accounting requirements Develop and manage all financial processes aligned to financial policies Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and external auditors as necessary Liaise and develop good working relationships with key contacts, e.g., auditors, bankers, insurance brokers, and HMRC Oversee the group's day-to-day financial management, managing cash-flow, investments and reserves A full job description is available upon request Essential criteria: Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience Previous experience in management accounting, budgeting, variance analysis, business partnering and continuous improvement Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, in particular MS Excel Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively and efficiently To apply for this position, please submit your CV here or contact Laurence at Reed Belfast.
