A lovely, weing primary school in Trafford is looking for a dedicated Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long‑term supply basis, covering a maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a warm and nurturing KS1 environment where children are enthusiastic and eager to learn.
This role is full-time, to start ASAP.
The role:
1. Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 1 classroom
2. Working with small groups and providing 1:1 support where needed
3. Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities
4. Helping create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
What we're looking for:
5. Recent experience working in a KS1 or EYFS setting
6. A patient, caring and proactive approach
7. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
8. Someone reliable, enthusiastic, andmitted to pupil progress
9. A candidate with relevant qualifications - ideally Level 3
