Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager required to join a leading engineering company specialising in industrial solutions.
The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving new business development and managing key accounts across the UK. You will focus on selling engineered mechanical and industrial solutions, including pneumatics, bearings, and motor systems, to a range of industries, including manufacturing plants and foundries.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical engineering knowledge and sales experience, particularly in pneumatics, motors, bearings, or similar mechanical solutions. Full product training will be provided.

£35,000 - £55,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Sell engineered mechanical products and solutions, including pneumatics, bearings, and motor systems, to both end-users and OEMs across the UK.
Develop and manage key accounts within various industrial sectors, with a focus on growth and long-term relationships.
Identify and develop sales opportunities within the market, engaging with potential clients through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations.
Provide expert technical knowledge to clients on the benefits and applications of pneumatic and mechanical systems.
Manage new business development alongside nurturing existing client relationships in the industrial sector.
Liaise with various engineering and technical departments to deliver tailored solutions.
This is a field-based role covering the whole of the UK, with flexibility on location. Ideally, the candidate will be based in the Midlands to provide optimal coverage across the region.
Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager Requirements:
Experience as a Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Technical Sales Engineer selling mechanical, pneumatic, or electromechanical solutions.
Proven experience selling engineered products or solutions into OEM or end-user environments, such as pneumatics, bearings, motors, actuators, hydraulics, or similar products.
Strong technical engineering or mechanical background, with a willingness to progress in a growing engineering company.
Knowledge of pneumatics, motors, bearings, and related mechanical systems is essential.
A technical engineering qualification (Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree) is desirable.
Full clean driving license.
Ideally based in the Midlands, with a willingness to travel nationwide across the UK.
