About the Role Project Planner and Scheduler Inchinnan Permanent Our Vacancy We are recruiting for a Project Planner and Scheduler to join our team in Inchinnan on a full-time, permanent basis. As the Project Planner and Scheduler you will be responsible for ensuring best practices are applied across all projects, with a high level of detail, accuracy, precision, consistency and auditability to enhance projects status visibility and enable pro-active management for strategically important international projects. What you'll be doing Develop, maintain and manage the Planning system for projects In conjunction with Project Team and supporting departments, develop work, cost and operational structures and define baseline schedules Establish, manage and update fully resourced schedule for assigned projects Establish, manage and update ERP work order structure for assigned projects ensuring global work order standards are met Ensure all Changes and Variations are captured in the schedule and the impact evaluated, proposing alternative/corrective solutions Liaise with Clients and Subcontractors or Vendors to ensure full compliance and control of the overall integrated project schedule Develop, maintain and manage Projects specific planning, scheduling, reporting processes and procedures, ensuring their application Prepare regular internal and external project reports for management Provide manpower analysis and trends for forecasting, assessing resources availability Prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members Measure, control and report project progress highlighting any issues or areas of concern. What we're looking for Experience Previous Planning / Scheduling Proficient user of Primavera P6 and MS-Project Risk analysis Progress measurement Experience in Oil & Gas, Defence, heavy engineer industry, manufacturing, diving/subsea preferred, on-shore and off-shore (Project Planner, Planning Engineer, Project Controller). Qualifications and Knowledge Degree (Business Administration/Finance/Engineering) is desirable Understanding of ERP processes APM or PMI Certification is an advantage Good knowledge of excel; configuration of ERPs (Glovia, SAP, JD Edwards) in a project environment is an advantage Would hold or be able to obtain SC level clearance.
