The Opportunity
Are you passionate about health and safety and ready to make a real difference in a dynamic, food manufacturing environment? The Cornwall Bakery is looking for a motivated Health & Safety Technician to join our team and help ensure the highest standards of safety for our colleagues and operations.As our new H&S Technician, youll play a key role in supporting the H&S Manager in the day-to-day running of our safety management system. Youll be:
* Investigating incidents and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Conducting audits and inspections across key risk areas
* Coaching and supporting managers and team leaders to uphold safety standards
* Promoting a culture of continuous safety improvement across the site
* Assisting in training and onboarding, including inductions and contractor controls
* Deputising for the H&S Manager when needed
The Ideal Candidate

* A NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (EQF Level 4)
* Associate or Technical IOSH Membership
* Experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or food industry safety role
* A working knowledge of key safety hazards, risk assessment, and safety systems
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to learn and grow
