Job Description
We are working with an esteemed international law firm who are seeking a Junior Associate Solicitor to join their Structured Finance practice within their London office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a globally ranked Structured Finance team, working on some of the most complex financing transactions in the market. The candidate will work on matters such as securitisation (private or public), debt capital markets, asset backed securities, receivables financing, and asset-based lending. Responsibilities include working on major regional and national projects, advising on both UK and cross-border structured finance deals, and drafting and reviewing structured finance documents.
The candidate will have the opportunity to support a highly reputable client base, working with a range of top-tier clients, including UK clearing banks, European and investment banks, independent financiers, funders and corporate borrowers from listed companies. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria:
* NQ-3 PQE;
* Strong background in finance law within a medium to large international or City law firm;
* Demonstrable commercial awareness;
* Excellent academics;
* Negotiation skills;
* Strong communication skills;
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
