Job Title: Personal Assistant (Temporary)\n Hourly Rate: £15.23ph - 36 hours per week.\n Security Clearance: SC Clearance Required\n Start Date: May 2025 (subject to clearance)\n Contract Length: 6 months temporary contract (non-extendable, maternity cover)\n Working Pattern: Full Time (Hybrid - minimum 40% office attendance in London - 2 days per week)\n\nOverview:\n\nA high-profile government agency tackling serious financial crime is seeking a proactive and reliable Personal Assistant to provide temporary executive support during a period of internal secondments and maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful work supporting senior leadership across two critical divisions.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide dedicated executive support to two Heads of Division: Head of a Crime Investigation Division and the Head of Proceeds of Crime & International Investigations. \n\nManage inboxes and calendars, ensuring effective prioritisation and time management.\n\nScreen correspondence and manage internal/external communication professionally.\n\nCoordinate and minute meetings as required.\n\nEnsure confidentiality and discretion while handling sensitive or restricted information.\n\nCollaborate with the wider team and Line Manager to support divisional operations.\n\nDeliver high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced environment.\n\nPerson Specification:\n\nEssential Criteria:\n\nDemonstrated experience supporting senior management in a PA/EA capacity.\n\nExcellent diary and inbox management skills, with a methodical and proactive approach.\n\nCapable of producing clear meeting agendas and accurate minutes.\n\nProven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.\n\nComfortable with hybrid working arrangements and navigating a dynamic schedule.\n\nDesirable Criteria:\n\nExperience working in a law enforcement, legal, public sector or government setting.\n\nConfident using Microsoft Office applications.\n\nAdditional Information:\n\nYou will be covering a seconded EA while the Divisional Business Manager is on maternity leave (due to return in Nov 2025), so no extension is expected.\n\nInterviews are preferred face-to-face and will be scheduled on 12th May.\n\nIf you're an experienced PA ready to hit the ground running in a pivotal role, we'd love to hear from you.
