A globally successful brand, designing and sourcing for clients, is looking to recruit a Buyers Assistant to work in their Fashion Department.
The role is full-time, working 40 hours per week. However, they would consider part-time (30 hours) for the right candidate.
In this role, you will support your buyer with effective management of critical path issues, propose solutions, and liaise with the global supply chain. You will work with buyers on quality and delivery issues, understand the buying calendar and range building process, and contribute to building a commercially balanced range through product strategy, competitive benchmarking, sales history, and creative input.
Full training in all aspects of the role will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious, eager to grow within the company, innovative, and forward-thinking. You may have studied a fashion-related qualification, be considering a career change, or be at the start of your career as a school leaver or graduate.
We are looking for someone who can prioritize multiple deadlines, manage time effectively, build relationships, communicate easily at all levels, and always seek to improve and learn. A keen eye for detail, teamwork, a proactive attitude, and tenacity are essential qualities.
