Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our premium Italian restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for authentic Italian cuisine, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in growing businesses without compromising quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to daily operations, strategic planning, and customer satisfaction.
Salary: Base salary, plus TRONC. Up to 80K OTE plus incentive based bonus
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring efficiency and high standards.
Implement and maintain health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and develop a high performing team.
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
Customer Experience:
Ensure exceptional customer service and dining experience.
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Financial Performance:
Develop and manage forecast to achieve financial targets.
Analyse financial reports and implement strategies to increase profitability.
Monitor and control labour and operational costs.
Marketing and Business Growth:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
Collaborate with the executive team on strategic initiatives.
Quality Control:
Maintain the authenticity and quality of Italian cuisine served.
Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
Uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a General Manager in a premium dining or upscale casual dining environment.
Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and dining culture.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
Passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
