We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Integrative Psychotherapist to join our team and work in our Milton Keynes office.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health care and will work collaboratively with clients to support their emotional and psychological well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of various therapeutic techniques and the ability to tailor approaches to meet individual client needs.
We are offering a Psychotherapist the opportunity to join our expanding practice on a self-employed basis. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build their clinical experience within a private practice setting and for individuals who want to become part of a growing team and practice.
The position is hybrid; working both online and in our clinics in Milton Keynes (& London if possible).
Duties:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop personalised treatment plans.
Provide individual, couple, or family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Provide crisis and safeguarding intervention as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
Attend Monthly / Fortnightly team meetings with principal psychologist within Luxe Psychology Practice.
Essential:
A recognised accredited qualification in integrative psychotherapy (e.g. BACP Accredited or UKCP Accredited).
At least 2 years experience working with service users, post qualification (we are not taking on trainees).
Able to offer face to face appointments in Milton Keynes (and Central London).
Experience of working with various client groups (E.g. Children, Adults, Couples).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective documentation and collaboration.
Ability to work independently, while also being an effective team player.
A commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines in practice.
Highly enthusiastic, self-motivated, and good organisation skills.
DBS check
Comfortable with technology and are tele-health competent.
Professional, confidential space/ environment to conduct remote work and therapy sessions.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Desirable:
Flexible hours / able to offer evening (after 5pm) or weekend availability for clients.
You have additional training and experience in various evidence-based modalities, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT or CFT.
Registration with Healthcode / Health Insurance companies as a provider (particularly AXA).
