Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for helping to prepare meals, snacks, and drinks for residents within the guidelines set by the Home Manager and Chef/Cook. You will understand and promote the philosophy of choice rights and fulfillment for all residents. You will get to know the residents and understand their likes and dislikes to ensure they enjoy their dining experience.

About You
You should be comfortable in an elderly care setting, with the ability to relate to residents in a caring and sensitive manner.
No previous formal catering experience is required, as we will provide training. However, holding a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is helpful. We are looking for someone who is keen on cooking and takes pride in kitchen hygiene standards. You should have a positive, can-do attitude, good communication skills, and a passion for ensuring residents receive excellent service.
You should be confident in engaging with elderly residents to understand their individual needs and enjoy being part of the wider team.
