About the Role
As a Regional EHS Manager, you will oversee EHS performance across a regional portfolio, partnering closely with Project Managers, site teams, contractors, and clients. You will lead EHS Advisors and Senior EHS Advisors, ensuring consistent standards, proactive risk management, and continuous improvement of EHS systems, processes, and culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic EHS leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project EHS teams.
* Champion Zero Harm initiatives and ensure full compliance with EHS legislation, company policies, and client requirements.
* Lead audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action processes.
* Drive standardisation of best practices, safety documentation, and reporting across all projects.
* Oversee contractor compliance and support prequalification and tender submissions.
* Manage team development, recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training.
* Support continuous improvement through lessons learned, innovation, and the adoption of digital EHS tools.
* Represent EHS interests with clients, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
* Ensure robust emergency preparedness, competency development, and enforcement of safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
* Significant senior‑level EHS experience across construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and relevant EHS legislation.
* Proven leadership capability, with experience managing EHS teams across multiple sites.
* Skilled in audits, incident investigation (e.g., 5 Whys, TAP Root, Kelvin Top Set), and risk management.
* Proficiency with EHS systems, reporting tools, and digital platforms.
* Ability to travel regularly and work across multiple business units.
