Family Associate - Charities & Private Wealth Disputes - Exeter - 2+ Years PQE
Location: Exeter
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 (dependent on experience)
A forward-thinking UK law firm is seeking a Family Associate with 2+ years' post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded Charities & Private Wealth Disputes team in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, high-value family law matters in a collaborative and emotionally intelligent environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for advising clients across the full spectrum of family law, including:
* Financial remedy proceedings
* Children matters and cohabitation disputes
* Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
* Contested financial remedies and sensitive child arrangements
* Working with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, farming families, and senior professionals
* Building strong client relationships and supporting them through challenging life events
* Contributing to the continued success and growth of the team
Candidate Requirements
* 2+ years PQE in family law
* Experience or interest in high-net-worth and financial remedy work
* Confidence in managing their own caseload with support
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team contribution
* Commitment to excellence, empathy, and continuous development
