Omniplex is now recruiting a Supervisor
All Applicants must be over the age of 18 due to Northern Ireland Cinema Licencing laws.
This is a part time position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the cinema operation including efficient day-to-day control of all cinema activities.
TYPICAL ORGANISATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Cinema supervisors are responsible for promoting effective visitor services, whilst ensuring business objectives are achieved. Typical work activities include:
* Achieving audience and sales targets
* Ensuring audience satisfaction
* Managing promotions within the cinema
* Budgeting and stock control
* Developing an understanding of the local market, including customer expectations
* Liaising with film societies and other groups within the industry
* Complying with licensing and health and safety regulations
* Recruiting, training and supervising full and part-time staff to work as a team (HR)
* Marketing the cinema within a local arena
* Organising duty rotas and wage requisitions
TYPICAL DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES
A cinema supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the cinema operation including:
* Cash control
* Concessions
* Dealing with customer and telephone enquiries
* Digital Projections
* Front of house
* Human resources
* Maintaining upkeep of auditoria
* Ticketing Office
* Monitoring KPI's
KEY AREAS FOR TRAINING
Full training will be provided in the following key areas:
* Cash Handling
* Digital Projection
* Health and Safety
* HR Software
* Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
* Reporting
* Stock Control
* Ticketing Software
* Fire Safety
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING REQUIRED
No qualifications necessary, but retail experience is essential.
KEY SKILLS FOR CINEMA SUPERVISORS
Personal qualities such as good problem solving, organisational, interpersonal and verbal communication skills are important. All candidates must be confident, commercially aware and capable of forming good relationships with a wide range of people. Good business and IT skills are also important.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.40-£12.61 per hour
