What you’ll be doing: Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store, while actively participating in prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves. Often, you will operate a full store shift independently overnight, being responsible for the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in-store. Ensuring that standards are maintained at a high level so the store is ready to serve customers in the morning. Managing people, including performance, capability, disciplinary actions, scheduling, and pay accuracy. Our nightshift managers work full-time hours over 4 nights, with a £4,500 premium on top of the base salary (typically from 22:00 to 08:00). What makes a great nightshift manager: Comfortable with nightshift work and adaptable to its physical and mental impacts, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the team. Previous line management experience in a fast-paced, operational setting. Resilient to handle the mental and physical demands of night work. Excellent customer service skills and ability to coach a team similarly. Experience in monitoring KPIs or other performance metrics. Ability to manage disciplinary, performance, or employee relations issues. Capable of leading operations independently in the absence of senior management.
