How you'll make an impact In this role, you’ll take charge of managing and growing your own book of business. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs, negotiate competitive terms, and deliver bespoke insurance solutions that truly make a difference. Building strong relationships with brokers and clients will be at the heart of what you do, ensuring the best outcomes for everyone involved. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, prospects, and introducers, delivering tailored insurance and risk management solutions. Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional lines of insurance and Gallagher products/services, driving revenue growth within the Edinburgh market. New Business Development: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. High-Quality Service Delivery: Provide consistent, high-quality service aligned with Gallagher’s operational standards and practices. About You Here’s what you’ll bring to the role: You’re working towards or hold a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification (Dip CII/Cert CII). You have a solid understanding of general insurance products, services, and the wider industry. You’re detail-oriented and focused on accuracy in your work. You’re passionate about delivering outstanding client service and building lasting relationships. You’re proactive, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
