Supply Desk is a trusted education recruitment partner, working with primary schools in Gerrards Cross and the surrounding areas. We provide supply teachers and teaching assistants for daily cover, long-term placements, and permanent roles.
We have successfully supported hundreds of ECTs in gaining valuable classroom experience, building confidence, and finding the right permanent position.
We are currently recruiting Early Career Teachers to begin working as soon as possible in primary schools on a supply basis, with the potential for permanent opportunities from January.
About the Role:
Deliver pre-planned lessons in the teacher’s absence, ensuring continuity of learning
Keep the classroom organised and leave a clear handover for the returning teacher
Adhere to the school’s behaviour management and safeguarding procedures
Complete marking for the day’s work in line with school expectations
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified Early Career Teacher (QTS achieved or pending)
Have a proactive, flexible approach and a willingness to adapt to different school settings
Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
Show a genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing
Be reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
Hold or be willing to obtain a DBS registered on the Update Service
