Overview
Cleaner role at Sodexo, Crewe, Cheshire CW2 5PJ. Up to 40 hours per week (flexible), Monday to Friday. £12.60 per hour plus Sodexo employee benefits package. Full uniform and training provided. Free parking onsite. Opportunities for career development.
What You'll Do
* Carry out all cleaning tasks as directed by the supervisor/manager, ensuring adherence to cleaning schedules, client policies, and COSHH regulations.
* Wear the company uniform and personal protective equipment at all times while on duty, and follow the site's colour coding policy for cleaning tasks.
* Use the cleaning methods outlined in Sodexo's training tools and report any faults with cleaning equipment or machinery to the supervisor.
* Report building defects and near misses promptly to the cleaning supervisor or General Services Manager, ensuring safety and efficiency.
* Attend any required job-related training and fulfill any reasonable management requests to support site operations.
What You'll Bring
* Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and appearance, with a positive approach to learning and identifying personal training needs as appropriate.
* Demonstrate self-motivation, a flexible approach to the role, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team while adhering to all Health & Safety practices.
* Possess good interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff, ensuring a high standard of service excellence.
* Utilize cleaning experience and Health & Safety training to perform tasks safely and efficiently, delivering service excellence at all times.
* Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and consistently strive to meet and exceed service expectations, ensuring a professional and effective approach.
