An exciting opportunity has arisen in the School of Computing, Business and Travel for a business teacher to join us for September.
Based in Luton, we are looking for an enthusiastic teacher willing to make a difference to the lives and careers of our learners. The successful candidate must have the capacity and ability to manage the progress of learners across all levels and support their pastoral needs, whilst monitoring course-specific KPIs.
You will join a vibrant and high-performing team, teaching across a range of FE Business curriculum programmes from level 1 to 3. You must have excellent knowledge and understanding of Pearson BTEC Business units, exams, and assessments. Teaching qualifications and relevant subject experience are desirable.
The team and our learners benefit from excellent links with local employers, and any opportunity to further these links is welcomed.
You will have the ability to promote, support, and embed English and Maths skills within the planning and delivery of all teaching. You should also be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessments of student work, with experience in personal tutoring including target setting.
This is an Hourly Paid position based at our well-equipped facilities at Barnfield College, New Bedford Road Campus, Luton. We offer a supportive culture with excellent CPD opportunities.
