Solutions Sales Consultant – (Instrumentation / Process Automation)
North - Manchester / NE and Scotland
From £50k + Bonus + Company car + Benefits
Role + Responsibilities for a Solutions Sales Consultant:
Endress+Hauser is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solutions Sales Consultant to join our regional teams. This role focuses on driving sales of our solutions offering within the assigned territory. You will play a key role in building relationships, identifying customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Main responsibilities for a Solutions Sales Consultant:
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers within the assigned region.
* Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their operational challenges and identifying opportunities for our solutions offering.
* Promoting and selling Endress+Hauser’s portfolio of engineered solutions
* Achieving or exceeding sales targets for solutions revenue in the designated territory.
* Preparing and delivering technical presentations to demonstrate how solutions meet our customer needs.
Technical Expertise:
* Providing in-depth knowledge of Endress+Hauser solutions to address customer inquiries.
* Collaborating with technical teams to design and propose customised solutions.
Market Development:
* Identifying new opportunities within the customer base for solution growth.
* Staying informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer challenges.
* Participating in regional events, workshops, and customer training sessions to promote Endress+Hauser’s capabilities.
Account Management:
* Preparing and managing proposals, quotes, and negotiations.
* Ensuring customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and proactive issue resolution.
* Working with existing Area sales Managers to develop opportunities in Solutions
Qualification + Profile for a Solutions Sales Consultant:
* Proven track record of consultative selling
* 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in solutions within industrial automation or process industries.
* Strong understanding of process automation and related service applications.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
* Willingness to travel regionally to meet with customers
