We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity, for an Assembly Operative in Telford. The Assembly Operative position works Days 6.30am – 4.30 Monday – Thursday
This offers a pay rate of £12.21
Responsibilities for an Assembly Operative:
* Manual Handling up to 25kg
* Assembling products
* Unloading pallets of parts
* Loading finished products onto pallets, for distribution
* Ensuring all products meet customer specifications
* Maintaining excellent quality throughout
* Following direction of the production manager
* Following all health and safety guidelines at all times
* Requirements for an Assembly Operative:
* Ability to continuously lift products up to 25kg
* Experience in an assembling position
* Ability to work independently, and as part of a small team
Skills and experience:
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
* Good analytical and numerical abilities.
* Some electrical experience would be an advantage.
* Enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner with previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
* Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
* Excellent hand-eye coordination.
* Ability to lift heavy parts during assembly (if required).
* Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
* Ability to read and understand blueprints or manuals.
* Must have an aptitude for mechanics and technical skills
* Manual dexterity to use various machines and hand tools.
