POSITION SUMMARY
The Test Technician tests electronic equipment and performs fault finding down to component level when necessary to meet production schedules and performance standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform various production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies.
* Utilize test procedures, drawings, schematics, and verbal/written instructions to test and troubleshoot units.
* Handle semi-routine assignments requiring recognition of nonconformities.
* Communicate professionally and effectively.
* Follow all safety protocols.
* Maintain fixturing, perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
* Work under limited supervision.
* Train other employees in established processes.
* Contribute to corrective actions.
* Ensure accuracy and completeness in all tasks.
* Be cross-trained on multiple product platforms.
* Contribute to process improvements, lead times, throughput, and cost reductions.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in electrical circuits and assemblies testing preferred.
* Ability to adapt and work effectively in a team environment.
* Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
* Intermediate computer skills, including AE Nexus, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Proficiency in SAP applications.
* Minimum of two years experience in electronic testing and troubleshooting or equivalent.
* Experience in designing, developing, and implementing test fixturing.
* Knowledge of ESD practices.
* HNC or Electrical/Electronics Degree.
