Oxford City Council’s Museum of Oxford is looking for Casual Museum Learning Facilitators to lead workshops for their growing schools programme and support other groups when they visit the museum. Working within our learning team, you will be responsible for setting up, delivering and clearing up for group workshops on site at the Museum of Oxford, and online in schools workshops that are delivered digitally.
As a Casual Museum Learning Facilitator, you will be the face of the Museum of Oxford for the schools audience and this role is vital to ensuring the museum operates to its full potential and students and teachers leave having had an enjoyable experience. Workshop delivery takes between 1 hour and 2.5 hours depending on the format, and set-up and clear up is usually about 30 minutes each side of the booking. Age ranges for workshops will vary and training in the workshop topics will be provided by the Learning Officer. You may also support workshops with families, older people and community groups when the opportunity arises.
