Grounds Maintenance Operative (Perm FTC Opportunities) From £12.21 per hour 39 hours per week Kendal Shape greener spaces and grow your career About the role As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you'll play a vital role in transforming and maintaining outdoor spaces across the Westmorland and Furness region. From mowing and pruning to weeding and litter picking, your work will help create safe, welcoming, and beautiful environments for local communities to enjoy. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:30 and Friday 07:30-12:30, based in Kendal. Fixed-term and permanent opportunities are available. You'll be: Operating ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimmers, and other horticultural tools Maintaining shrubs, borders, and lawns to a high standard Keeping public spaces clean and tidy through litter picking and weeding Supporting seasonal planting and pruning activities Working safely and efficiently in all weather conditions Driving between sites (a full UK manual driving licence is essential)Your benefits We believe in rewarding your hard work and supporting your future.
