We're looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join our Construction business in Bristol.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Responsibilities
As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for producing all aspects of project submissions including PQQ and ITT in all formats (written, visual aid or interview presentation) and to ensure that the content best reflects the brief or questions being asked, using the most appropriate and up to date format.
Within the role, you will establish best practice both across the Kier Group (bid and technical teams) and external sources such as bid specialist businesses and consultants.
Duties and responsibilities within the role will include but not be limited to:
* Support our pipeline strategy and market intelligence to align ourselves with key target opportunities.
* Oversee the tender process across the full range of sectors and 2 stage and single stage procurement routes.
* Development of our tender submissions to integrate our design team and supply chain to maximise efficiencies and deliver fully considered commitments.
* Taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process and implementation of all necessary bid procedures and processes
* Key focus on ensuring that all submissions are produced to the highest level.
* Developing innovation that will support our tender offerings including new digital technology and modern methods of construction.
* Prepare all internal bid documents such as Project / Bid Briefing presentation, answer plan, client research, bid programme.
* Carry out bid expertise Gap Analysis ie. Identification of the right resources to produce the best possible solutions that meet the client's vision.
* Managing target tenders through the Preferred Bidder period to contract award
Who are we looking for?
Working on projects valued between £2m and £60m, we are looking for like for like industry experience. You will need to hold the relevant qualifications, along with a solid history of working on submission management with a main contractor. Key attributes that we're looking for in applicants include:
* An excellent facilitator and presenter
* Self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to prioritise workload
* Responsible for documentation and presentations sector wide
* Ability to format and present visually stimulating construction documents and produce PowerPoint presentation to a high standard.
* Ability to communicate with senior people / teams
* Develop specialist subject to contribute to submissions i.e., Digital offer
