We are currently looking for an experienced Head of Procurement to support the Group Director of Finance in providing a centralized procurement service to the New City College Group. The role ensures adherence to proper standards of probity and value for money. You will be responsible for ensuring all procurement actions conform to college financial regulations and public procurement procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inform and advise managers and staff on procurement policies, procedures, and sources of supply.
2. Assist managers in issuing invitations to tender via the E-tendering portal.
3. Handle clarifications, evaluate tenders, and report on their outcomes.
4. Send notifications of successful and unsuccessful tenders.
Qualifications and Experience:
CIPS qualification or proven experience in a similar role. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
