About the Role
We have an exciting vacancy within our team to assist in the delivery of a wide range of services. The registration service is busy, and the role can be demanding, emotional and requires commitment to the service, but it is varied, interesting and rewarding. The service plays a critical role in registering life events, and the work is office based with face‑to‑face customer engagement being a legal requirement of the role. You will be part of a small, friendly and hard‑working team who put excellent customer service at the heart of the service.
About You
As a business support officer within the registration service, you will be involved in the delivery of both registrations and ceremonies, by providing effective and efficient administrative support, carrying out pre‑ and post‑registration statutory duties and providing excellent customer care. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be well experienced in administration and IT skills, with attention to detail being an essential quality.
Your style and approach will reflect our values and behaviours, and you should be committed to continually learning and improving, working together and taking ownership of your actions.
