Salary: Starting Salary is £24,790 FTE (Level one) rising to £25,584 FTE (Level three) per annum (pro rata for part-time) - pay award pending

About the Role

This role involves maintaining and improving the appearance and structure of the building, working as part of a team to meet cleaning schedules, monitoring health and safety checks, and undertaking planned maintenance such as painting, decorating, waste disposal, furniture assembly, and minor repairs. You will also identify and report potential maintenance and security issues to the duty manager.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

* Knowledge of safe use and storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
* A practical approach to building safety and equipment maintenance.
* Experience in basic gardening and DIY, including maintaining waste outlets, drains, and mechanical installations.
* Ability to undertake routine domestic tasks and minor maintenance.
* Understanding of health & safety and building regulations, including routine testing and recording of systems presenting risks.
* Ability to liaise with contractors and communicate effectively.

- A DBS enhanced check is required for this position.
