Registered Manager – Hyndburn Branch

Location: Office based in Hyndburn, with some travel to Extra Care schemes and meetings as required

Salary: £39,000

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, values-driven Registered Manager to take overall leadership and management responsibility for the Hyndburn Branch. You will be responsible for the carers, care coordinators, deputy manager and designated Extra Care team, ensuring Willowbrook Homecare provides safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

You will share responsibility as the CQC Registered Manager for the regulated activity of personal care in relation to the domiciliary care service carried out at Hyndburn. This is a key leadership role where you will be working closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure quality, compliance, and growth in line with Willowbrook's values.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure full compliance with CQC, safeguarding and all relevant legislation.
* Deliver high-quality care that meets contract requirements across domiciliary and Extra Care.
* Lead and develop the Hyndburn team, ensuring recruitment, training, supervision, and appraisals are effective.
* Drive service development through tendering, contract transitions, and building external relationships.
* Support innovation and digital transformation, ensuring systems are used effectively.
* Deliver audits, investigations, and quality improvement plans in line with Willowbrook's standards.
* Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for Hyndburn Branch.
* Participate in the on-call rota, covering evenings, nights, and weekends as part of a shared system.
* Report regularly to the General Manager and Senior Leadership Team on performance, compliance, and service development.

About You

* QCF Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care Leadership/Management (or working towards).
* At least 3 years' Registered Manager experience in social care.
* Experience of growing domiciliary care hours (private, CHC, Social Services funded).
* Good knowledge of CQC frameworks, inspection processes, and compliance.
* Strong working knowledge of relevant health & social care legislation and Local Authority contracts.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience using digital systems, ideally MS365 and electronic care planning/rota systems.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate and inspire staff while maintaining a positive culture.
* Committed to continuous professional development.
* Willing and able to participate in the on-call rota.
