Salary: £100 - £230 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are actively recruiting a committed and knowledgeable Teacher of Science to join welcoming schools in the Southend-on-Sea area. Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, this role offers an exciting opportunity to motivate young learners and deliver the wonders of Science.
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to students across Key Stages. You will foster critical thinking and scientific enquiry through hands-on experiments, real-world applications, and a passion for the subject.
Science Teacher Responsibilities:
* Teach Science across Key Stages in line with the national curriculum
* Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
* Encourage practical skills and analytical thinking through experiments and discussions
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
* Work collaboratively with other Science staff to develop resources and improve teaching practice
* Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement
Teacher of Science Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or a related discipline
* Experience teaching Science in UK schools is essential
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
