About The Role
Our Dementia Friends programme raises essential awareness of dementia, and we need your help to make it happen!
As a Dementia Friends Ambassador, you’ll be changing attitudes about dementia by delivering Dementia Friends Sessions and interacting with the public regularly. You will be a local representative, raising awareness of the Alzheimer’s Society's work, ensuring those affected by dementia are aware of vital information and support, and informing people or businesses about how they can support us.
This role involves handing out leaflets, encouraging the public to access our services, and attending local events and talks. You can also get involved by volunteering at fundraising events, sharing social media posts, or putting up posters.
Location and Training
This role supports the Lincolnshire area. Volunteers will need to complete six hours of training: one hour of e-learning and a five-hour interactive online session.

* Saturday 17th May, 10am-3pm
* Wednesday 18th June, 10am-3pm
* Wednesday 9th / Thursday 10th July, 6pm-9pm
