Description About the Role The Business Development Manager (AAC) plays a key role in growing NovitaTech’s AAC and alternate access technology portfolio by building strong clinical, sector and commercial partnerships. This role combines deep AAC expertise with strategic business development to deliver meaningful communication outcomes and sustainable growth. In this role you will: Drive growth in AAC and assistive technology across disability, health, aged care and education sectors Build trusted relationships with Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, educators and referral partners Strengthen NovitaTech’s profile as a leading AAC advisor and technical expert Collaborate closely with internal clinical, retail and services teams to maximise customer outcomes Identify new opportunities, technologies and partnerships to support innovation and revenue growth Provide a timely response to customers Skills And Experiences Knowledge, skills and experience Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding growth or sales targets within disability, health or education sectors Strong knowledge of AAC systems, communication devices, alternate access methods and related assistive technologies Sound understanding of Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy roles in AAC assessment and implementation Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clinicians, referrers, suppliers and procurement teams Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate clinical expertise into viable business solutions Education and Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia or AHPRA (Occupational Therapy), as applicable Demonstrated experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and/or assistive technology Understanding of NDIS, aged care, education and hospital funding and service environments (desirable) We’re serious about safeguarding our clients.
