Our Creative Arts section provides our learners with the skills and knowledge with which to progress onto a relevant degree at HE level or directly into a rewarding career within the media, television, film, and creative industries. We work closely with UAL, our awarding body, to ensure our courses are both subject and industry relevant.
We are seeking a full time Lecturer in Art and Design to join our successful team and deliver across a range of programmes from Level 1 to Level 3.You will also assist in developing industry links for live briefs and student work experience.
You will need to possess a degree in Art or related subject, with excellent subject knowledge, and teaching experience in art and design up to Level 3.You will have current or recent experience as a practitioner in Art and Design and will have the ability to engage and inspire learners, and be able to deliver teaching at the appropriate level to learners across Level 1 to Level 3. If you do not currently possess a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the Further Education sector, you will be supported to obtain this by the College.
