We’re looking for a dynamic Farm Manager to fill this unique role. You’ll manage our pedigree livestock to the highest animal welfare standards and lead in innovative nature conservation.
We’re looking for an experienced livestock manager to ensure the successful delivery of our ambitious nature-recovery targets.
A cottage on the estate will be provided as part of this role - you’ll be part of an out-of-hours team required to lock-up and provide alarm response outside of working hours.
What it's like
As the Farm Manager for Kingston Lacy, you’ll join our passionate team to become a voice for our landscapes, a conservation champion, and a lover of all things outdoors. The estate covers a total of 8,500 acres; this encompasses land which is grazed by our livestock and land that is let to tenant farmers. There’s a variety of habitats from parkland, woodland, chalk downland and heathland and the estate are crossed by miles of footpaths and bridleways. The location is rural, so you’ll likely need your own transport to get here.
