The Legal Billing market is currently super busy and with that I'm delighted to be partnering with a Leading Global Law Firm to recruit a Billing Assistant for their Manchester office.

What You'll be Assisting With:
This position supports the Revenue Business Partners and Billing Coordinators across all stages of the billing process, ensuring invoices are finalised in accordance with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements, including VAT, the Criminal Finances Act, the Solicitors' Accounts Rules, and Money Laundering regulations.
* Liaise with Billing Coordinators to ensure invoices are generated promptly and queries are addressed in a timely manner.
* Execute time and cost transfers and update narrative descriptions on timecards to ensure complete and accurate billing information.
* Apply Billed On Account balances as requested, maintaining accurate financial records.
* Provide ad hoc support to the Manager, Revenue Business Partners, Billing Coordinators, and E-Billing Coordinators to ensure efficient billing operations.
* Process Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) write-offs as required, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
What I'm Looking For:
* Legal Billing Experience - minimum of one year.
