The Role & Responsibilities Working as the vital link between the school and the Manchester community, you will ensure that the front-of-house service is both welcoming and secure. Public Relations: Serving as the professional "voice" of the school, managing all incoming calls and face-to-face enquiries from parents and stakeholders. Attendance Tracking: Managing the morning "late gate" and updating attendance records on the school's MIS to ensure accurate reporting for the pastoral team. Safeguarding Compliance: Maintaining the Single Central Record (SCR) for visitors and ensuring all ID checks are conducted with rigorous attention to detail. Event Coordination: Assisting with the logistics and reception-side management of Open Evenings, Parents' Evenings, and school performances. Requirements Education: A good level of general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above). Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment. Right to Work: Candidates must possess the legal right to work in the UK. Salary & Contract Details Salary Range: £24,500 – £28,000 (Regional Scale) Hours: 08:00 – 16:00 | Full-time | Permanent Start: ASAP
