Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Location: Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £95 - £105 per day
Status: September 2024

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and success of our students. The role of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in schools are multifaceted, designed to support both the teaching staff and students in various capacities.
Job Responsibilities:
* Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
* Lead small group activities and interventions to support student progress and achievement.
* Provide targeted support to students with additional needs, ensuring inclusive and accessible learning opportunities for all.
* Assist with the planning, preparation, and assessment of lessons and learning materials.
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative learning community.
The successful candidate will:
* Relevant experience working in a primary educational setting, preferably as a HLTA.
* A Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting teaching and learning activities.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
