We are currently seeking a Team Leader to play a vital role in our Complex Needs Service in Kensington and Chelsea.

Your Role: What Will You Be Doing?

As our ideal candidate, you will bring extensive experience working with African, Caribbean, and Arabic-speaking individuals who have mental health support needs. Your understanding of their cultural perspectives and barriers to engagement will be invaluable. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

* Implementing co-production models and gathering user feedback to enhance culturally responsive service delivery.
* Leading and managing diverse teams, including recruitment, supervision, performance management, and training.
* Delivering high-quality, compliant social care or day services while championing best practices in equality and diversity.
* Utilizing strong analytical and reporting skills to assess and respond to mental health deterioration.
* Managing services within budget and promoting the organization externally.
* Overseeing accurate data reporting and ensuring staff IT competencies.

What Do You Need to Bring?

We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate the core skills required for this role and align with our values and mission. You don’t have to tick all the boxes right away; what matters most is your willingness to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so feel free to share this in your application.

Key Responsibilities

The main purpose of this role is to:

* Lead, motivate, and support a team in delivering high-quality, person-centered, and culturally responsive support.
* Manage complex casework and build partnerships across agencies.
* Ensure services align with recovery-focused outcomes.
* Design culturally appropriate interventions and user-led activities based on assessed needs.
* Maintain robust support planning processes and ensure user involvement in service development.

Interview Steps: What to Expect

We keep our interview process straightforward, so you know exactly what to expect:

* Shortlisting Call: Our dedicated recruitment specialists will discuss your experience, motivations, and values, while sharing insights about the great work we do!
* Face-to-Face Interview: You’ll meet with the hiring manager for a values and competency-based interview.

Don’t worry if there are additional stages in the process; it’s all part of our plan for some roles.

Our Commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion

Our service users come from all walks of life, and so do we. We believe that hiring great people from diverse backgrounds makes us stronger. We are committed to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce, valuing the skills, abilities, talents, and experiences that different individuals and communities bring to our organization.

We Are a Disability Confident Employer

Hestia is proud to be a disability confident employer, dedicated to the employment and career development of individuals with disabilities. We offer a guaranteed interview scheme for all applicants with disabilities who meet the minimum criteria for the role. We also provide reasonable adjustments during the selection and interview process, and throughout your employment with us.

Safeguarding Statement

Hestia is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults, children, and young people who may be at risk. We expect all staff and volunteers to uphold this commitment and require all staff to undertake safeguarding training throughout their employment.
