SEN Teaching Assistant – Portsmouth L ocation: Portsmouth, Hampshire Pay: £13.75 per hour Full-Time | Term Time Only (38 weeks per year) Start Date: As Soon As Possible We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school community in Portsmouth. This is a term-time only position, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of pupils with a wide range of complex special educational needs. Role Overview: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling pupils to access learning and engage positively with their education. You will work one-to-one and in small groups, supporting pupils across a variety of classroom and supported learning activities, under the direction of the class teacher. You will also promote the physical and mental wellbeing of pupils, encouraging independence, confidence, and social development.
