Offer description

McLaughlin & Harvey Construction Limited have a full time vacancy for a Finance Assistant. This position will be based out of our office in Strathclyde Business Park, Bellshill.

The successful candidate will be part of the finance team and will be required to work closely with various team members.


Responsibilities

* Assisting with financial administration of company supplied staff leased properties.
* Assisting Group Cashier with the administration of ad hoc payment requests (donations, social value initiatives, pro forma materials purchases).
* Supporting new supplier onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
* Assisting the Purchase Ledger department.
* Assisting with invoicing clients and credit control activities.
* Any other financial administration duties as required.


Qualifications

* Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Capable of processing data, accurately and prioritising workload to fit department needs.
* Competent IT skills in particular with Microsoft Excel and use of spreadsheets.

This is an excellent opportunity to build hands on experience across a broad range of finance tasks within a supportive finance team.

Whilst this post is ideally suited to someone with HNC in Accounting, all relevant experience will be considered.
