Resident Liaison Officer – Social Housing / Planned Works
Location: Brandon, Suffolk
Salary: £25,000 – £27,500 + Car allowance

About the Role
We’re working with a leading social housing contractor who are seeking an experienced and empathetic Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join their team on a long-term planned works programme.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, supporting residents through periods of change, and ensuring works are delivered with minimal disruption. You’ll act as the vital link between residents, site teams, and clients making sure communication is clear, professional, and compassionate at every stage.
Key Responsibilities

Be the main point of contact for residents throughout planned maintenance and refurbishment projects.

Arrange and attend resident consultation meetings and pre-start visits.
*
Provide regular updates on project timelines, access requirements, and progress.
*
Handle complaints and concerns promptly, with empathy and professionalism.
*
Maintain accurate records of resident contact, feedback, and project milestones.
*
Support vulnerable residents, including those living with dementia or other challenges, ensuring their needs are met.
*
Work closely with site teams, operatives, and client representatives to ensure smooth project delivery.
About You
*
Previous experience in a Resident Liaison, Tenant Liaison, Customer Liaison, or Community Engagement role within social housing or construction is essential.
*
Experience on kitchen, bathroom, or painting programmes within planned maintenance.
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations confidently.
*
A proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach.
*
Empathy and understanding when working with vulnerable or elderly residents.
*
A full UK driving licence is required.
