Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef to join our team working at Albemarle Barracks, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, NE15 0RF
You will be responsible for managing production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage and be supportive of new team members to support them with their learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.

This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 including some weekend shifts. Shifts range between 7am and 8.The hourly rate is £13.

A day in the life of a Chef:
Cooking and preparing food ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner services ensuring minimal wastage. Providing fine dining (silver service level) for functions/hospitality events.
Working collaboratively as part of a team of chefs and acting as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
Assisting with deliveries and stock checks, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
A confident chef.
Security checks and DBS required for this role.
Must have their own transport due to the site being remote with limited transport links.
