Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time 37.5 hours per week Band 2 Booking Officer/Secretary to join our Urology team.
Role Responsibilities
The Booking Officer will work within a multidisciplinary team, handling patient pathway management, booking appointments, managing telephone and email enquiries, and liaising with medical professionals. The Support Secretary will assist senior medical secretaries and support the consultant team with typing, telephone and email correspondence, and appointment bookings.
Candidate Requirements
* Literate and numerate with excellent organisational, time management, and IT skills.
* Ability to work independently and with high standards of communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enthusiastic, motivated, and pride in work.
NHS experience is essential.
