We at randstad are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to join our team on a major rail infrastructure project. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance across all site activities, working within a dynamic and fast:paced environment.
Duties
* Provide expert advice on health, safety, and environmental compliance across civils, highways, infrastructure, rail and track works.
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment. x200B;
* Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
* Promote a positive safety culture and deliver toolbox talks and training sessions.
* Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to HSE standards.
Person Specification
* Sentinel Card (mandatory for rail/track access).
* Proven experience in rail or track projects within a construction environment.
* Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* NEBOSH or equivalent safety qualification desirable.
